Our Process

Weight Management Research

In many clinical trials we assess the impact an investigational medicine might have on other conditions linked to excess weight. Click on the conditions below to find out more. Here you can view our weight management clinical trials.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a term used to describe diseases of the heart and blood vessels. CVD can cause heart attack and stroke. It is linked to a buildup of fatty deposits called ‘atherosclerosis’ on the inside of blood vessels, and a higher risk of blood clots.

There are many risk factors for CVD, the more of them you have, the more likely you are to have or develop CVD. Some risk factors include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, obesity and overweight, smoking, and family history.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is when the kidneys do not work as well as they should and cannot filter blood properly. It is a long-term condition. Treating the cause and making lifestyle changes often play a big part in managing this condition.

Sometimes treatments like dialysis which helps filter blood instead of your kidneys, or kidney transplants are needed. Some causes of CKD include high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and family history.

Type 2 diabetes is also known as type 2 diabetes mellitus, T2D, and T2DM. It happens when the pancreas does not make enough insulin, or when the body can’t use insulin properly.

Treatment involves managing lifestyle and nutrition, and sometimes medicine is needed. In some cases, type 2 diabetes can be prevented, delayed, or reversed.

See If You Qualify

We partner with pharmaceutical companies to bring new treatments to the world for study conditions such as weight loss. You can help and possibly help yourself in the process.

If you qualify, you'll receive access to treatments before they're widely available to the public. You'll also be compensated for your time and travel.

We are currently enrolling for weight loss, and weight loss for individuals with Type II Diabetes trials.
