Birth Control Research

When considering birth control, an individual may take into consideration a number of factors including one’s sexual life, reproductive goals, and the health and safety of oneself and sexual partner.  Summit Research Network participates in research for birth control.  Contraceptive research is necessary to develop methods that may help individuals and their partners balance these goals.  Prior studies at Summit have included research on oral contraceptives and vaginal rings.  Qualified study participants receive:

  1. Provision of the study product for the duration of the study
  2. Study related physical exams, PAP test and labs
  3. Study related health monitoring for the duration of the study
  4. Compensation for time and travel associated with the study visits
